I’m an Edinburgh-based filmmaker and documentary editor, originally from Orkney. Interested in routine, repetition, and ritual, I tell small stories that explore universal themes.

As a director, my work has been supported by the Scottish Documentary Institute and Screen Scotland, including my recent film Water to the Wall (2025).

My editing work has screened internationally at festivals including CPH: DOX, Sheffield DocFest, BFI London Film Festival, and DOC NYC. With over a decade of experience bridging filmmaking and the visual arts through roles at Tate and the National Galleries of Scotland, I have commissioned, produced, and directed films with acclaimed contemporary artists including Do Ho Suh, Catherine Opie and Andy Goldsworthy, exploring the intersection of artist-film and digital interpretation.
